Know Thy Survey

A Bit About Us Before You “Meet Yourself”

Know Thy Survey exists to help people meet themselves.

Life can be hard.

Whether you grew up hearing that message or not, you may have — like us — grown up to experience it firsthand.

You're here because you have questions about yourself. We started Know Thy Survey because we had questions about ourselves too:

Why do my relationships seem more difficult than other people's?

Why am I having issues at work that my coworkers don't seem to have?

How was I not diagnosed with mental health issues earlier in life?

What could have been different if I had recognized these issues sooner?

What can I do differently moving forward now that I recognize these issues?

At Know Thy Survey, the answers and solutions we've come to all started with a genuine understanding of the issues, traumas, and mental health challenges we've experienced — and the role we play in how they impact our lives. That knowledge helped us acquire the language needed to work through our challenges (be it at home, at work, in therapy, or with ourselves).

What We Believe

The values behind every survey we offer.

Science

Our surveys actually measure what they say they're measuring.

We focus on tests that are valid & reliable — they measure what they claim to measure and results won't vary based on your current mood (or if you're just hangry).

The tests we offer have been studied academically, reviewed by other experts, published in academic journals, and are used by mental health professionals.

Understanding

We provide more than just your scores.

We provide science-based explanations of your scores in common language so you can talk about them with others.

You're here because you're curious about yourself — we're here to help you figure it out.

Access

Psychology testing can be expensive, but Know Thy Survey isn't.

Whether you're here on a "hunch", experiencing challenges at home or work, or just curious, Know Thy Survey makes trusted psychology tests easy to access.

Don't get us wrong — if a therapist or medical professional recommends psychology, mental health, or other tests, we recommend taking their advice. But for some people, this may be a good place to start.

Transparency

We're just two guys who want you to feel better.

We've struggled with our own mental health issues, and understanding them gave us the language (and power) to make positive changes in our lives.

We're not here to charge hidden fees, monthly subscriptions, or sell your data — we're here to help you meet yourself.
